Hiking

Hiking in Bhutan is so rewarding -- there is a wealth of diversity in terms of flora, fauna and vistas. Some of our hikes go through small villages off the beaten path, giving you an unparalleled glimpse into traditional village life in Bhutan. Higher elevations and steeper slopes may mean that hiking is also more rigorous in Bhutan than other parts of the world, but that's also part of the fun and the reward. Our hiking trips differ from our trekking itineraries in that there is no camping. Most days involve a nice hike of anywhere from a couple hours to more than half the day (depending on our clients' wishes and abilities). You'll always have a comfy bed at night and access to a warm shower as you desire. We try to include some cultural siteseeing as well. Most of our hiking trips have been designed exclusively for the particular group, but we include a popular lowland hiking trip here as well. Just send us an email if you are interested in learning more.
